The cocktail: Non-alc Dirty “Martini”
The Ingredients: Seedlip Garden 108 and Seedlip Spice 94 (non-alc spirits), verjus, olive brine, olives, ice
The Inspiration: “Quite simply, I envision a martini as one of the most challenging cocktails to offer as an N/A option. Because it's straight ethanol, your gin (or vodka) is what brings both ABV and texture, followed by vermouth which adds the botanical and astringent note to the mid-palate, and the garnish is what ties it all together. So I turned my attention to Seedlip Garden 108 and Seedlip Spice 94. The two bottles by themselves are one part of a greater cocktail. Verjus is an ingredient I like to use in my traditional dirty martini, but the same can be applied to N/A options. Translating it directly to "green juice," verjus brings acidity and complexity akin to dry vermouth without any of the ABV making it an ideal substitute for this N/A build.” - AK
