The cocktail: Krakoa 🌴

Ingredients: Dassai Blue 35 Sake , Yuzu Vodka , Pistachio Orgeat , Mint , Lime Mint Cordial , Shisho Bitters

The inspiration/backstory: This cocktail name comes from one my favorite storylines/places in the Marvel Universe. As a sovereign mutant nation-state and safe haven, it’s a representation of a Utopia with an interesting morality complex. This cocktail pulls Japanese ingredients together with a bit of tiki indulgence. To build this cocktail, the orgeat and sake are the main components.

The Build:
1 1/2 oz Sake
1/2 oz Citrus Vodka - Yuzu for best results
1 oz Orgeat
1 oz Lime-Mint Cordial
3 x dashes Shisho bitters

Combine ingredients in a shaker + strain over crushed ice into a mint julep cup or glass of your choice.

Lime-Mint Cordial Recipe (—You’re looking to make a product that is mainly acid with a touch of sweet.)
- Zest three limes with 5 sprigs of mint and 1 cup of sugar in a pot
- Juice about 2 oz of lime into pot
- Simmer at low heat  for about 10 minutes till sugar is  fully dissolved then strain and let cool .
