January is brutally slow for restaurants and we're all cooped up against the cold. So let's be social. Come share a meal inspired by the big, multi-generational Italian gatherings that defined restaurateur Vic Christopher's childhood at home and in Brooklyn Italian restaurants.

Without the formality of a talk, Vic will share the story behind the menu and his path to hospitality that starts with indie film-making in the '90s, a passion for baseball from the Mets to the Troy Valley Cats and the opening of the Lucas Confectionery and Peck's Arcade. Now with 6 businesses under the Clark House Hospitality umbrella, Vic's chosen family-style menu will have us sharing:

• rigatoni alla vodka, Vic's grandmother's classic meatballs + sautéed broccoli rabe

• cannoli dip

*A vegetarian meatball option and gluten-free pasta can be made available by prior arrangement, but we cannot accommodate dietary restrictions on the day due to the family-style nature of the meal.
