La hora del vermut — vermouth hour or aperitivo— is a built in pause. Nobody is in a hurry. That's the point. So we're bringing a little Euro-inspo to the Hudson Valley this summer. Join us early on a Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. for The Dishing’s la hora del vermut at woman-run Stable Gate Winery in Castleton. Val’s tasting room + leafy patio has wine flights, phenomenal grapefruit meadmosas, NY-made cider and beer, and—just beyond the rows of their 2 acre micro-vineyard—a paddock with rescue horses.
Plus, August 12 is an important celestial night with a partial solar eclipse, a new moon + the peak of the annual Perseid meteor shower with up to 50 to 100 shooting stars per hour.
✨ Viva Empanadas will be on site selling gorgeously crisp empanadas.
✨ Val Feldman + Francisco Dionese’s will be pouring Stable Gate wine + Dionese’s vermouth.
✨ DJ TruMastr will be spinning tunes throughout the golden hour.
✨ Korean Visionary Jisung Chun is taking bookings for 10-minute mini-divination sessions to glimpse into what's unfolding for you while sipping a delicious NY craft beverage. Come curious, leave with clarity. Sign up for your mini session here.
Come out for a farmy party with The Dishing on a sunny summer eve!
